Every serious Trout Angler knows about the White River. The Cedarwood Lodge is located in an area
of the river away from the river traffic that exists on the upper end. We have some
of the best fishing holes within a short distance of the Lodge. This beautiful Brown
Trout was recently caught by a guest right off of our dock!......... MORE .........

OUR WILDLIFE PARADISE
|
Who has the best fishing technique on the river? Here's a hint - ( he doesn't use a
pole. ) We are so fortunate to be right in the middle of one of the last great wilderness
areas in America. The majestic Bald Eagle love's it here. Hardly a day goes by that one or more
are not spotted right from our back porch. These photos were taken by a guest through a telescope
on our deck. One stayed perched on the same branch for over 6 hours!
The pair are nested near the Lodge,
and obviously love the fishing in our backyard just like us.
Countless species of water fowl and birds, deer, turkeys, and even Razorback Hogs call Arkansas and
Rea Valley home. We believe you'll agree that we have found the perfect combination of luxury
and wilderness.

LIFE ON THE LAKE
Like to go a little faster on the water? We are just a short
drive from Bull Shoals Lake. Water Skiing, Swimming, Party Boating -
well you know how fun a day on the lake can be. Bull Shoals Dam was
completed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1951.
It is the fifth largest concrete dam in the United States. Oh, and the fish seem
to like the lake too.
